Stella Hemetsberger retained the ONE Women’s Strawweight Muay Thai World Title with a third-round stoppage of Natalia Diachkova at ONE Fight Night 46 in Bangkok, turning a measured opening into a decisive body attack that forced the finish at 1:46.
Stella Hemetsberger stopped Natalia Diachkova in the third round at ONE Fight Night 46 on Friday, retaining the ONE Women’s Strawweight Muay Thai World Title at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok.
Hemetsberger ended the contest at 1:46 of round three after repeatedly attacking Diachkova’s body with her left kick. The second strike visibly affected the Russian challenger, who turned toward the ropes before Hemetsberger followed with three punches and a knee. The referee intervened moments later.
The result gave Hemetsberger a successful first defense of the Muay Thai championship and improved her professional record to 11-1. She also received a US$50,000 performance bonus.
A Cautious Opening Gives Way to Pressure
Neither fighter committed heavily during the opening exchanges.
Diachkova was the first to increase the pace, moving forward with a boxing combination that forced Hemetsberger to respond. The Austrian answered with kicks, but Diachkova caught one and dumped the champion to the canvas near the end of the round.
Hemetsberger began to change the pattern in the second.
She used her right hand more frequently while Diachkova looked to generate power through her punching combinations. Whenever the challenger threatened to establish her preferred boxing range, Hemetsberger closed distance and used the clinch to disrupt the exchange.
That adjustment kept Diachkova from building sustained pressure while allowing the champion to find her timing.
The Body Attack Changes the Fight
The decisive shift came early in the third round.
Hemetsberger stepped forward with greater accuracy and drove a left kick into Diachkova’s right side. The impact forced the challenger to bend over as she tried to recover.
Rather than switching targets, Hemetsberger returned to the same opening.
A second left kick landed to the body moments later. Diachkova turned away toward the ropes, giving Hemetsberger the opportunity to close distance. Three punches followed before a knee prompted the referee to stop the contest.
The finish came after two comparatively measured rounds in which neither fighter had established clear control for extended periods. Hemetsberger changed that by identifying the body as an available target and attacking it twice before Diachkova could reset.
Hemetsberger Keeps Both ONE Titles
The victory preserves Hemetsberger’s position as a champion across two striking rulesets.
Alongside the ONE Women’s Strawweight Muay Thai World Title, the 27-year-old also holds the promotion’s Women’s Strawweight Kickboxing World Title.
Friday’s fight was her first defense of the Muay Thai belt. Rather than allowing Diachkova’s boxing pressure to dictate the later rounds, Hemetsberger used the clinch to interrupt the challenger’s combinations before finding the body attack that produced the stoppage.
For Diachkova, the defeat ended her attempt to take the strawweight championship in Bangkok.
For Hemetsberger, the third-round finish keeps both titles under her control and adds a successful Muay Thai defense to a career already spanning two disciplines inside ONE.
